Deep roots. Profound connection.
Founded in 1883 as Saint Anne Villa, The Villa at Florham Park sits on the sacred ground where a community of Catholic nuns cared for the older members of their order for more than 130 years. Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey purchased the property in 2016 and opened The Villa to senior adults of all faiths and backgrounds. Although The Villa is now a nonprofit organization open to all, an appreciation for the importance of spiritual life guides everything we do.
We take a holistic approach to wellness that seeks to enhance each individual’s physical, social, intellectual and spiritual well-being. Our robust activities program offers a variety of classes and events that help residents engage all of their senses while connecting with one another. On any given day, residents may take part in fitness and crafts classes, trivia and card games or special entertainment events. All residents, whether they are in Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing or Rehabilitation, are encouraged to participate in community life as much as possible.
A spirit of camaraderie among residents and staff is evident to everyone who visits The Villa. Our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other professionals are deeply dedicated to the work they do and treat all residents as family. The staff-to-resident ratio at the Villa is high with staff who have been a part of our community for many years. This makes our community a place where people want to visit, work and stay.
Committed to the principles of inclusiveness and diversity, The Villa at Florham Park is an equal opportunity organization. Our services are open to all and are provided without regard to age, sex, color, religious creed, ancestry or national origin, handicap or disability, veteran status or other legally protected characteristics. Potential residents shall not be discriminated against based on their source of payment.
