Residents and families share testimonials about The Villa
The Villa is beyond beautiful & clean and most importantly loving & caring! My short stay for rehab was comfortable in a private quiet room. My therapy girls were so knowledge and always had a smile for me.
My heart is filled with gratitude knowing that my beloved sister is being cared for by so many caring and loving staff. These are not easy times for anyone but I am especially grateful to know that she is safe and happy in her beautiful apartment. I know she is anxiously awaiting for the virus to be gone so she can enjoy the many social activities and trips that await her, it is at this point her adventures will begin!!!

When I started hearing in the news about COVID it seemed so far from us. Until days went by and the virus came closer and closer. So close that I got the virus. When I got my results I was filled with tremendous calm and faith. This is something I learned from my parents. Trust in God. I packed my small suit case and I was transferred to the nursing unit. I felt at ease that I was still in the same community and didn’t have to leave my home. See I have a great responsibility to my community of sisters since I am the coordinator of sending out communication and daily calls. Though I had COVID I had GOD, telephone and a great team of nurses and therapists.

The Villa has been my home for many years. I am very grateful for the care and compassion not only I receive but my sisters in God as well.

We visited many places in Connecticut and New Jersey, but when we found The Villa at Florham Park, we immediately felt a connection. We had a good feeling the minute we pulled up. All the other places didn’t feel like home. They felt more like hospitals. The Villa feels like home. There are so many things we enjoy about living here. The apartments are nicer than any other places we saw. And The Villa has activities to suit people with varied interests and abilities. There’s no shortage of social opportunities, either. Everyone is friendly and we’re like one big family.

To say The Villa surpassed my expectations would not do justice to my experience. The Villa’s emphasis on personal, individual care was apparent from the start. All of The Villa’s suites and apartments are private. Many of the team members have been here a decade or more. That makes a big difference. They really get to know the residents.
I was feeding my dad a piece of pecan pie at a holiday dinner. He smiled at me and said, ”lovely.” Before I moved my dad to The Villa, he hadn’t spoken in almost two years. My word of advice? You don’t have to go the caregiver route alone. The Villa makes it easier.

I give all the credit to the Villa. With the help of the nursing, physical and occupational therapy staff, I continued to improve physically and emotionally; the results have been spectacular. I’m making tremendous strides to a full recovery. I’ve enjoyed the beauty of the community — inside and outside. The gardens and grounds are very inviting, and this place is immaculate. This is a great place to come for a retreat. I’m going to enroll in The Villa’s Outpatient care program.
